Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the SIA Platform. By accessing or registering, you agree to be bound by them.

These Terms, Policies, and Guidelines govern the use of the SIA – Social Impact Analysis MIS Platform ("SIA Platform") developed and managed by tanX Innovations LLP. By accessing, registering, subscribing to, or using the platform, users and organisations agree to comply with these Terms, Policies, and applicable laws of India.

1. Terms and Conditions

1.1 Introduction

These Terms, Policies, and Guidelines govern the use of the SIA – Social Impact Analysis MIS Platform ("SIA Platform") developed and managed by tanX Innovations LLP. The SIA Platform is a digital Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL/MEL) solution designed for NGOs, CSR initiatives, foundations, trusts, and development organisations to strengthen project management, impact measurement, organisational learning, and evidence-based reporting systems.

By accessing, registering, subscribing to, or using the platform, users and organisations agree to comply with these Terms, Policies, and applicable laws of India.

1.2 Description of Service

The SIA Platform enables organisations to:

  • Collect, manage, and analyse project and program data
  • Create dashboards, reports, and impact analytics
  • Monitor indicators, outputs, outcomes, and impact
  • Plan and track project activities and timelines
  • Align projects with organisational strategies and indicators
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • Access integration and API-based services where applicable
  • Strengthen evidence-based monitoring, evaluation, and organisational learning systems

The platform is specifically designed to help organisations move beyond project-level reporting toward organisation-level impact measurement.

1.3 Intellectual Property

All software, dashboards, designs, analytics frameworks, and platform features remain the intellectual property of tanX Innovations unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Organisations retain ownership of their uploaded organisational and project data.

1.4 Service Availability

tanX Innovations will make reasonable efforts to ensure uninterrupted platform availability. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to:

  • System maintenance
  • Technical upgrades
  • Internet connectivity issues
  • Unforeseen technical problems

1.5 Modification of Services

tanX Innovations reserves the right to:

  • Upgrade platform features
  • Modify service offerings
  • Revise subscription plans and pricing
  • Improve system functionality

Users will be informed of major changes whenever applicable.

1.6 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, tanX Innovations shall not be liable for:

  • Incorrect data entered by users
  • Decisions made based on platform reports
  • Loss caused due to unauthorised account access
  • Temporary downtime caused by technical issues
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Business interruption
  • Unauthorised access
  • Technical downtime or failures
  • Decisions made based on platform-generated reports or analytics

1.7 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Policies shall be governed in accordance with the applicable laws of India, including but not limited to:

  • The Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules
  • Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)
  • Applicable GST and taxation laws
  • RBI guidelines applicable to digital payments and payment gateways

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.

2. Customer Rights and Responsibilities

2.1 Customer Rights

When creating an account, users must provide accurate, complete, and updated information. Users of the SIA Platform have the right to:

  • Access subscribed platform features
  • Receive basic onboarding and technical support
  • Access their organisational data and reports
  • Request clarification regarding billing and subscriptions
  • Receive updates regarding major platform improvements
  • Request account cancellation as per policy

2.2 Customer Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and updated information
  • Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
  • Ensuring data uploaded on the platform is authentic
  • Using the platform ethically and responsibly
  • Making payments on time as per subscription terms
  • Informing tanX Innovations about unauthorised access or security concerns

Organisations are solely responsible for the quality and accuracy of uploaded project and impact data.

Users shall not use the platform:

  • For unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purposes
  • In violation of applicable Indian laws or regulations
  • To upload false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful information
  • To infringe intellectual property or confidentiality rights
  • To disrupt, damage, overload, or compromise platform operations
  • To attempt unauthorised access to systems, databases, or user accounts

tanX Innovations reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in cases of misuse or policy violations.
